The Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Luverne owns and operates the municipal water system which provides service throughout the city. All residents of the city have access to the municipal water system.
The municipal sanitary sewer system serves the city's developed areas. Service has recently expanded to some of the more sparsely populated areas and will soon reach the newly annexed portions of the city.
